Western Region Continues to Build the Future Through Joint Investiture Ceremony


NC Knights of Pythagoras continues to grow and strengthen young men across our jurisdictions through dedicated leadership and meaningful programming.


Recently, Western Region - Assistant Grand Knight Director Andrew Gibson and Deputy Grand Knight Director Chris Howard hosted a successful Joint Investiture Ceremony at Harry Lee Johnson Council No. 204, welcoming the next generation of Knights into our great organization.


During the ceremony, seven young men were formally invested into the Order, representing multiple councils from across the Western Region. In addition, one Master Mason was obligated, demonstrating his commitment to supporting and mentoring our youth through the Knights of Pythagoras program.


The success of the event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the regional leadership team, including Assistant Regional Director Bro. Korey Lockett and Past Master Derrick Burgess, who assisted with the ceremony and helped ensure a memorable experience for all young men.


NC Knights of Pythagoras applauds the Western Region for its continued commitment to mentoring, leadership development, and investing in the lives of young men. Every new member represents another opportunity to shape future leaders who will positively impact their communities and uphold the principles of our organization.


Congratulations to all of the new Knights and the Brothers who continue to make this important work possible. Together, we are building tomorrow’s leaders—one young man at a time.​

State Master Knight Whitaker was excited to participate and support this impactful initiative, which promotes literacy, leadership, and community engagement among our youth.   One of the greatest strengths of the North Carolina Order of the Knights of Pythagoras is the collective support that surrounds our young men. Our program is designed to build leadership, discipline, structure, and character but the success of that mission is greatly strengthened through the involvement of dedicated  parents and guardians  who reinforce these same values at home and within the community. For many years, NCKOP has benefited from parent involvement and Parent Clubs across the jurisdiction.
