A Powerful Celebration of Black History and Youth Leadership
Recently, Harry Lee Johnson Council #204 held an outstanding Black History Month Program at Rameses Temple in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event was very well attended and served as a meaningful celebration of the legacy, impact, and continued influence of Black history in our communities.
The young men of Council #204 did an exceptional job sharing reflections on what Black history means to them and how it influences the values, character, and aspirations they strive to live out each day. Their presentations were thoughtful, inspiring, and a reminder that the next generation of leaders is already preparing to make a difference.
A special thank you to Senior Advisor Bruce Johnson for his leadership and dedication in organizing such an impactful program for the Knights and the community.
During the program, the Sons of Solomon Motorcycle Club / Master Masons presented a generous $1,000 donation to the Council in support of the continued development and mentorship of these young men. Their support demonstrates the importance of community partnership in uplifting our youth.
Representing the Knights of Pythagoras leadership team were Deputy Grand Knight Director Chris Howard and Assistant Grand Knight Director Andrew Gibson who were honored to attend and witness the outstanding work being done.
Programs like this remind us that Black history is not only something we study, it is something we live, honor, and carry forward through mentorship, leadership, and service.
We congratulate the young men of Harry Lee Johnson Council #204 for hosting a truly inspiring program and thank everyone who attended and supported this important event.
