Council Reporting & Activity Submissions

 


Hello Advisors, I would like to share an update on two important council activity items to ensure we continue documenting and highlighting the great work happening across the Order. 

1️⃣ Council Reports (Monthly Activity Documentation) 

Council Reports are an important tool to document your council’s activities each month and throughout the year. Reports are stored in the KOP Portal and are easily accessible to Advisors at any time. They help Regional Directors stay informed about activities within their regions. 

They also support recognition opportunities for councils. For example, the William A. Clement Award is presented to the council with the largest representation of activities since the last Assemblage. We will use Council Activity Reports, along with social media engagement, to support consideration for this award and others. 

👉 Councils may submit a report for each activity, but we are requiring at least one report per month, which can summarize all activities.

2️⃣ Submitting Activities for Social Media Recognition 

We strongly encourage all councils to submit activities for publication on our official platforms. When you submit: Assistant Grand Knight Director Corey Rahymes will post on Facebook and TeamApp. Submitting through the form also allows us to reference your activities for recognition consideration. Highlighting your Knights, Advisors, and council achievements inspires other councils and helps with increasing interest in joining KOP.

Khalif Court #90 Read Aloud Event - State Master Knight Whitaker Champions Reading in Greensboro

​ State Master Knight Dexter Whitaker was one of the distinguished guest readers today for Khalif Court #90’s “Read Aloud” event held at the McGirt-Horton Branch Library in Greensboro, NC. State Master Knight Whitaker was excited to participate and support this impactful initiative, which promotes literacy, leadership, and community engagement among our youth.   One of the greatest strengths of the North Carolina Order of the Knights of Pythagoras is the collective support that surrounds our young men. Our program is designed to build leadership, discipline, structure, and character but the success of that mission is greatly strengthened through the involvement of dedicated  parents and guardians  who reinforce these same values at home and within the community. For many years, NCKOP has benefited from parent involvement and Parent Clubs across the jurisdiction.
