Strengthening Council Accountability & Recognition

Council Activity Reports (Effective 2026) In 2024, all Knights of Pythagoras Advisors were provided access to the KOP 360 Portal. This was an essential step in strengthening our program infrastructure and ensuring Advisors have direct access to their Council’s information—membership records, Council details, reports, program news, and more. The portal was implemented to improve communication, increase transparency, and provide better tools to support Council operations.

Building on that progress, beginning in 2026, all Knights of Pythagoras Councils are required to submit a Council Activity Report through the KOP 360 Portal. You can submit one report which includes all activities for the month or you can submit a report for each activity separately. The Activity Report is electronic and already available within the portal.

Why Capturing Council Activities Matters

Capturing Council activities is one of the most important responsibilities we have as Advisors because it ensures the important work happening at the local level is documented, recognized, and preserved. Too often, Councils are actively doing great work—but without documentation, that work can be overlooked, forgotten, or not counted toward program goals and recognition.

Submitting activity reports helps in several key ways:

  • Creates a permanent record of your Council’s work Council activity should not live only in conversation or memory. The report creates a clear and consistent record of what was accomplished.
  • Improves regional visibility and program support The report allows the Regional Director to be aware of activities within the region and helps program leadership identify Councils that may need additional guidance, resources, or support.
  • Strengthens accountability and consistency across Councils Documented activity confirms that Councils are active, engaged, properly supervised, and aligned with the mission and expectations of the program.
  • Supports growth, planning, and stronger leadership development Capturing activities over time allows Councils to identify what works, strengthen programming, and build a more intentional calendar of service and development opportunities.
  • Ensures activities are credited for annual recognition These reports will be used to evaluate Councils for annual recognition and awards. If it isn’t documented, it cannot be fully considered.

What Can Be Reported

Councils may report a variety of activities, including (but not limited to):

  • Council meetings
  • Community service projects
  • Educational sessions
  • Fundraisers

  • Other Council-sponsored events and initiatives

Advisors are encouraged to be as detailed as possible when completing submissions.
