Introduction of PM Jerrell Knight to the NC Knights of Pythagoras Leadership Team

On behalf of the NC Knights of Pythagoras, I am honored to introduce and welcome PM Jerrell Knight to the leadership team as the Assistant Grand Knight Director for Knight Development & Programs.

A dedicated member of Saint Johns Lodge 12 and Walter Gilmore Council 35, Jerrell has been actively involved in the KOP program since 2013. His leadership experience includes serving as Worshipful Master in 2021 and leading his local council from 2014 to 2019. Even beyond his tenure in these roles, Jerrell continues to provide unwavering support and mentorship to the Knights in his council, reinforcing his commitment to the growth and success of our program.

In his new role, PM Knight will oversee Knight Development and Programs, assisting all 46 active councils within our jurisdiction in implementing the 12 obligatory initiatives throughout the year. He will also serve as a valuable resource by conducting learning sessions to educate both our Knights and Advisors on a variety of selected topics, enhancing their knowledge and leadership skills.

Jerrell has also played a significant role in planning meaningful outings for the Knights within the community, exposing them to cultural experiences that enrich their personal growth and broaden their perspectives. A prime example of his dedication was when he, alongside other brothers, organized a trip for several Knights to The International Civil Rights Center & Museum in Greensboro during Black History Month. This experience provided the young men with a deeper understanding of their history and heritage, helping to inspire and empower them for the future.

PM Knight brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion that aligns perfectly with the mission and vision of the NC Knights of Pythagoras. His dedication to youth development and leadership will be invaluable in his new role, and we are confident that his contributions will further strengthen our program.

Please join me in congratulating PM Knight on his appointment. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the positive impact his leadership will bring.
