At the 2025 Conference of Grand Masters, National Knights of Pythagoras President Michael Simms (TX), National Secretary Robert Hassell (NC), and National Education Committee Chair Dr. Claiborne (MD) presented the National KOP Report. The report included key updates on national education initiatives and preparations for the upcoming National KOP Conference, scheduled for July 24–27, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

During the conference, the national leadership also engaged with several jurisdictions interested in launching Knights of Pythagoras programs, offering guidance and support to help expand the reach and impact of KOP nationwide.

In summary, the National Knights of Pythagoras is strong. We currently have 33 jurisdictions with active councils—and that number continues to grow. We are deeply appreciative of the hard work and commitment each State Director contributes to ensuring this program remains available and impactful for our young men. Their efforts help shape future leaders, build character, and strengthen our communities through mentorship, structure, and positive engagement.

As the State Director for North Carolina, I was proud to go with Grand Master Daniel L. "DT" Thompson and the NC Delegation at the Conference of Grand Masters. I am especially appreciative of all the hard work each advisor gives to this program in our state; each of you is what makes this program great for our Knights. I am also thankful for the strong leadership and support given to us by our Grand Master, Daniel L. “DT” Thompson. His unwavering commitment has helped position North Carolina as a leading jurisdiction in this important work.
